Position:Two openings for Instructor, Level I, Speech-Language Pathology University of South FloridaDepartment of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Appointment:August 2015. Full-time, 12-month non-tenure track faculty appointment, contingent upon funding and Level II background check.
Qualifications:Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, eligibility for Florida State Professional License in Speech-Language Pathology, and three years of professional experience post clinical fellowship. Expert clinical experience in any area of Speech Language Pathology.
Preferred qualifications:Experience in supervision of graduate students in clinical, educational, or university settings. Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Experience in documentation and assessment of student performance (ASHA Knowledge and Skills Assessment); Demonstrated experience in clinical research and implementation of evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision to graduate student clinicians enrolled in the SLP practicum involving the diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders; mentor Master’s students; and engage in service to the department, college, university, community and profession.
Salary:Negotiable, depending upon qualifications.
